For the second time, Congresbureau Friesland had the opportunity to support the organization of the Wadden Dinner. Every year, politicians and policymakers from Northern Netherlands and The Hague gather to discuss the future of our unique Wadden region. The theme of the 2025 Wadden Dinner was "The Treasures of the Wadden."

The first course of the dinner consisted of three appetizers, presented in small "wad chests" (tiny treasure chests). Each wad chest also included a set of headphones, as each appetizer was accompanied by a short podcast. In the podcasts, an individual shares their personal 'treasure of the Wadden.' What made it special was that the podcast was listened to in the dark (see photos), so taste was the primary focus. Curious about what was said? You can find the podcast here.
