The Municipality of Smallingerland asked Congres Bureau Friesland to develop a program to raise awareness among entrepreneurs about the benefits, necessity, and enjoyment of Inclusive Entrepreneurship.

We developed the Smallingerland Inclusive Collective.

The launch took place on April 12, 2022, at Schouwburg De Lawei in Drachten.

In a varied program, more than 125 entrepreneurs were introduced to the shared challenge.

"The labor market is tight; there are many vacancies. At the same time, many residents of Smallingerland are still on the sidelines because they are unemployed. This is a shame, as there is a lot of untapped talent in Smallingerland! Talents that we want to give a chance to, together with you, to participate again."

With an interactive program built around the key words; Signal, Inform, Inspire, Animate, and Activate, we literally gave job seekers and entrepreneurs the stage.

The launch of the inclusive movement has led to over 60 entrepreneurs in 2024 committing to an inclusive labor market and becoming members of the Smallingerland Inclusive Collective.

With the slogan created by CBF: "Inclusive entrepreneurship... you don’t do it for show."
