Platform acct 2022
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, the annual Platform ACCT event focused on improving labor conditions and making collective agreements in the cultural and creative sector. Over 150 participants gathered at the Schouwburg Odeon in Zwolle.
After a welcome speech by moderator Mounir Samuel, Koen van Seuren from Collectief Antiklimax shared a personal story about his experiences as a creator over the past years. He posed the question of how young creators can finance their further development and how fair pay can be achieved, addressing this to Gunay Uslu, the Secretary of State for Culture and Media.
After a well-prepared vegetarian lunch, participants had the opportunity to explore themed tables from various sub-sectors through an information carousel. Presentations and discussions took place in the creative spaces within the theater. Hostesses guided the groups through the building, where they could attend three breakout sessions.
The day concluded with a networking drink, leaving the participants inspired as they headed home. Congress Bureau Friesland handled the registration process, production, and execution for this event.
